Missions Accomplished!

Last term saw a plethora of projects completed by students in Global Citizenship. We had our first Global Citizenship homework projects completed by our Year 8 students on the Tudors. Much of the work has been fantastic and feedback will be provided imminently to both students and parents... and Vivos will be lavished, mainly on the students! As announced on Twitter, 7D4 were the valient victors of the Battle of Britain project as judged by our special judges, flight lieutenant Jack Biggs and World War II author, Steve Bond. On Wednesday they will gloriously march (by bus) to Duxford War Museum to learn more about the Battle of Britain. Some of the delightful displays are pictured here!

Still craving Global Citizenship at the end of the day?

Great news! Geography, Philosophy and Ethics, Law and MFL are all providing after school sessions to allow students to catch up with their homework or missed work. If you love Law, you'll be thrilled to hear that a session will be running every Tuesday. Feeling the Philosophy itch and want a mental scratch? Wednesdays are for you! Gagging for Geography? Its all about Thursdays! And mad for MFL? That'll also be Thursday!

History will be sending out invites for personalised sessions for small groups of GCSE students. The first round of letters have gone out - keep watch at your letter box for the letter!

Welcome to Hazeley's Global Citizenship Blog

What's this? A Global Citizenship blog? Absolutely!

The Global Citizenship faculty is made of the humanities department and MFL under the watchful eyes of our fearless director, Mr Gowney-Hedges. This blog is going to be about keeping our students up to date with the latest goings on in the faculty. This will include:
  • School trips
  • Homework projects
  • Cross-curricular days
  • Awards
  • And much much more!
Not a big fan of reading? We also have our YouTube channel where you can access our latest videos and revision tips. We have more media-based plans up our deceptively small sleeves in the works so keep an eye here for updates!

You can also follow us on twitter for the latest goings on!
